Liz Simmonds - Project Co Lead

Liz is the Head of Research Culture at the University of Cambridge, responsible for driving the research culture agenda across the institution. She has moved from co-leading the ARRC project to focusing full-time on her institutional responsibilities, which have grown in scope over the last several years.


Katherine Dawson - Engagement Coordinator

Katherine Dawson - Engagement coordinator

Katherine worked as an Engagement Coordinator on the team from 2022-2024. She is currently on secondment to the Institutional Research Culture team.


Marie Collier - Engagement Coordinator

Marie Collier Engagement Coordinator

Marie worked as an Engagement Coordinator on the team from 2023-2024.  She is currently working as Research Culture Project Manager to the Institutional Resarch Culture team.  


Kate Murray - Careers Consultant

Kate Murray was our Careers Consultant providing feedback on the Narrative CV for live postdoc recruitments and providing valuable resources for colleagues internally and externally.  Kate has been part of the Cambridge Careers Service team working with the PhDs and the postdoc community. She is now working for King's College London as Partnerships Manager for clinical academics.


Sylvia Osborn - Project Coordinator

Sylvia Osborn - Project Coordinator

Sylvia was our project coordinator, before moving into a role as Project Coordinator in the Research Office for Institutional Funding & Awards.


Jessica Hampton - Researcher

Jess worked as a researcher for ARRC before moving on to her second postdoc at the University of Liverpool. Jess’s academic background is in Linguistics and for her doctoral thesis she conducted a mixed-method study on language attitudes comparatively across Emilian (a Gallo-Italic language family of northern Italy) and Esperanto (a so-called planned language created by L.L. Zamenhof at the end of 1800s).


Zoe Matthews - Project Administrator

Zoe worked as project administrator for ARRC before moving on to a post in the Dept. of Oncology. Previously, she worked at the University’s Faculty of Education for a number of years.
